About Prest and the Prest1478 Collection
Read on to get to know our latest collection; Prest1478!
Prest (1478 metres above sea level) is a mountain top – a well-known staple in Aurland, and a target for many hikes in the area. The mountain top can be seen from Flåm, and the illustration on the Prest1478 branding is shaped like the mountain top seen from Flåm. This is purposely done, and you don't have to hike to the top unless you want to. You can opt to enjoy the view of Prest from Flåm.
Prest1478 is a clothing collection of outdoor clothing, inspired by the mountains of Aurland. The collection carries a strong Norwegian identity, and mirrors the Norwegian way of life and values; to be outside in nature and enjoying the fresh mountain air.
The clothes in the collection is adapted to Norwegian weather and its sudden changes, sun, rain, snow, ice, cold and heat in the mountains. In Norway, we are used to several weather changes in a day. "There is no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing" is a well-known Norwegian saying, and the clothes in this collection show that it is true.
